Amazon is pulling off an amazing anthology series for gamers worldwide called Secret Level.
Amazon Prime’s Secret Level is an animated series with 15 episodes focusing on different stories from our favorite video games. Even more, the anthology will arrive on December 10, 2024, which means that it’s right around the corner. You can also explore the Amazon Prime Gaming lineup for August 2024.
Enjoy watching your beloved characters take on different stories. It is also worth noting that the animated series falls under the direction of Tim Miller. His work on Deadpool impressed the world, and we can’t wait for what he also has in store for us. What Games Are In Secret Level?
There are a total of 15 confirmed games featured in the anthology series. Each of them also hails from different publishers and franchises. Even more, we can expect some of our favorite actors and voice actors to make an appearance for this project.
In the trailer, you can also see Keanu Reeves make an appearance for Armored Core. Although we don’t exactly know how long one episode could be, we’re expecting tons of famous performers. Here is the list of the games in the Secret Level animated series:

Surprising Titles and Characters in the Series
For now, we can only see Kratos from God of War and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. We don’t know what else PlayStation has in store for us in Secret Level. Yet, we can also see that some of the fan-favorites are making appearances, like Mega Man, Sifu, and Warhammer 40,000.
Although games like Dungeons & Dragons or Warhammer 40,000 came as a surprise, it’s not an unpleasant one. After all, these games have recently gained the spotlight due to the success of Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3. Not to also mention the new rise of the up-and-coming Warhammer 40K game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
Other titles in the Secret Level anthology series just make sense, like Exodus and Honor of Kings. There are tons of lore and stories that all 15 games could explore.
Unfortunately, we don’t see anything from the Borderlands franchise, even with the new Borderlands 4 game coming. Yet, theorizing and overthinking about it won’t do us any good. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what the animated episodes have to offer.
Will We See Other Games Added to This Amazing Gaming Anthology Series?
For now, these 15 games are the only ones revealed at Gamescom and in the trailer. There are no reports as to whether or not they will add more games to the series. However, if the anthology exceeds expectations we could expect season two.
Hopefully, we could see other games that deserve an animated episode. Anything from Fromsoftware might have a shot, but that depends on the appeal. Other games like Cyberpunk 2077 or the new Black Myth: Wukong could definitely become a part of Secret Level.
Is Amazon Prime's Secret Level Worth It?
One of the most important questions that anyone can ask themselves before watching something is, “Is this thing even worth our time?” It’s only natural to want to make sure that seeing something—in this instance, a game anthology series—is worth your time.
If you ask the Internet if the Secret Level that Amazon Prime came up with is worth your time, you’ll hear some pretty good stuff from other people. Reading one comment from an IGN article talking about the Secret Level from Amazon Prime says:
“I love this concept. Not too many games on the list right now that I am interested in but the potential here is amazing. So many stories to tell and all of them without the expectations that a full blown movie or series based on a game would have.“
