With these Assassin’s Creed games, fans really have much to look forward to within the coming years!

Ubisoft grows the Assassin’s Creed games franchise with exciting titles, from open-world adventures to mobile games, there is nothing but a bright future for this beloved series. So let’s get started and take a peek at what’s in it!

Assassin's Creed Shadows

Next in line is Assassin’s Creed Shadows, scheduled to drop on February 14, 2025. This is the game initially planned as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red; it will mark a crucial step back into form. It is set in feudal Japan and promises something much more in terms of richness of experience.

The game will have an almost gargantuan open world to explore as a two-protagonist experience with one being a real historical figure. It would be, in a way, a dream for fans since it has long wanted to experience a Japanese setting. Following the success of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Shadows serves as a “very powerful shinobi fantasy”.

This will be the first title to enter the Assassin’s Creed Infinity hub. Infinity is meant to offer players an easy passage between various historical settings in the series. Get ready for great gameplay and riveting plotlines as you jump between worlds!

Assassin's Creed Infinity

Another biggie in the books from Ubisoft is Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Launching with Shadows in early 2025, this interactivity hub changes everything.

Its functionality is just like the Animus. Where one can explore multiple historical environments while continuing the modern-day narrative. This could reshape how players interact within the Assassin’s Creed universe forever.

In time, the Infinity hub has been expected to expand with new games and content. Two titles will involve this first phase: Shadows and Codename Hexe. Evolution brings a new take to the franchise, in the sense that they feel connected and expansive.

Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe

Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe is an intriguing game, but unfortunately, very little of it is known. It’s developed by Ubisoft Montreal and supposedly quite unlike other Assassin’s Creed games.

Players may explore 16th-century Europe during the notorious witch trials. Such a unique setting promises to bring the darker context and style of the game that fans were anxiously waiting for. Hexe, the new game from Ubisoft, will hit the market with Clint Hocking, former creative director of Watch Dogs Legion, on the ropes. Expect it to experiment on new ideas.

Without too much information to go on, fans can’t wait for a clearer view of this title and see how it will differ from its predecessors.

Assassin's Creed Jade

Assassin’s Creed Jade sounds promising for mobile gamers. It will be the first fully open Assassin’s Creed experience on mobile, located in 215 BCE China.

Players get to parkour across the Great Wall as they create their very own assassin from scratch – something that will be a first in the franchise’s history. The game promises an authentic Assassin’s Creed experience, but this time tailored specifically for touch controls.

Scheduled for launch in 2025, Jade will be ready to allow fans to join the franchise on the move. The interesting twist this is giving in mobile gaming is the concept of a personal assassin.

Assassin's Creed Netflix

As for Ubisoft’s mobile presence, the company is also partnering with Netflix to develop an Assassin’s Creed mobile game. This title will be exclusive to Netflix subscribers and is very early into its development stages.

Yet, it remains fairly vague but, according to the words used by Ubisoft, promises to extend the boundaries of the Assassin’s Creed universe into new formats. To enhance the games, a Netflix series, written by Jed Stuart, is going to drop at the same time.

Upcoming Projects and More

Aside from these titles, apparently, several other projects are in the works at Ubisoft. Rumors abound suggesting that no less than 11 new Assassin’s Creed games are in development.

That list even includes a remake of the community favorite Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. New multiplayer experiences under the codename Invictus have also been teased by Ubisoft, and the return of multiplayer was long overdue, as it first disappeared from Assassin’s Creed Unity.

With so much happening, there is no doubt that Ubisoft intends to bring back this franchise and will propel it forward with a diverse range of experiences to satisfy both single-player and multiplayer desires. Speaking of new games in development, we’ve that the game’s devs are going to make some tough choices for the Lies of P Sequel.

There will indeed be much new content for fans of the game in the new Assassin’s Creed titles. All these titles, such as Shadows, Infinity, Hexe, and Jade, are a treat, whether you prefer single-player adventures or have a liking for the mobile gaming format. Well, bright times are ahead in the world of Assassin’s Creed.
