Last December, Rockstar released the first GTA VI trailer that shocked the Internet!
Within two weeks, the official YouTube channel had over 150 million views. Since then, players’ enthusiasm has not diminished at all.
Currently, the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI has been viewed over 200 million times. As of the time of writing this article, the specific number is 200,186,053 times. The GTA VI trailer achieved this achievement in just 7 months.
Even now, on October 13, 2024, fans of the gaming community are still eagerly anticipating GTA VI’s arrival. With a simple look at the graphics, we can tell that it’s absolutely going to be one of the reasons why people want to play it. But we believe it’s safe to say that what fans are really excited about is the gameplay based on what the GTA VI trailer has shown.
How Many Times Has the GTA V Trailer Been Played Compared to GTA VI's Trailer?

What Information About GTA VI Do We Currently Have?
With the eagerly awaited comeback of Rockstar’s open-world action-adventure game, Grand Theft Auto VI will take us back to Vice City’s streets for the first time since 2006. After eleven long years of patiently waiting, the GTA 5 sequel is finally within our grasp. It’s one that we only get to see in the GTA VI trailer for now, but everyone will surely enjoy the hell out of Vice City once the game releases.
According to the most recent Reddit speculation, the moon idea will win out once more. People have been saying that Rockstar hints at impending developments by including visual references to moon phases in its social media updates.
Although it may seem excessive, can you blame fans for trying to make sense of GTA VI when there is still a lot to discover and only one GTA VI trailer is available?
But the Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer Was a Banger for Sure!
Still, that GTA VI trailer was an absolute belter. Over the past 11 months, gamers have had a lot to sort through since we first saw Leonida as a setting. We’ve also had the chance to get to know the two primary characters in Grand Theft Auto VI and what they would be like to one another.
Now, we do know that GTA VI’s release is set for 2025. The release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 has now been reduced to fall 2025.
A more hazy 2025 launch timeframe was previously all that was seen in the trailer; Take-Two’s May financial report later confirmed Fall. Even though this appeared to put an end to a Kotaku article that suggested GTA VI might be delayed until 2026, former Rockstar developer Obbe Vermeij recently clarified that Rockstar “is probably not in a position to determine whether they will hit 2025 until May-ish,” pointing to GTA 4’s delay, which occurred about four months prior to its scheduled release.
Vermeij Elaborates on What He Said About the Game's Release Date
Vermeij also stated that Rockstar will never release the game until they’re absolutely happy with the output and that GTA VI will sell for “10+ years” because there is “no competition.” When it was announced in early 2024 that Rockstar had returned all of its staff to full-time, five-day a week in-office work, there were rumors of a delay. Concerns were even raised by some of its developers, especially over the possible impact on the sequel.
From all that we’ve gathered, the GTA VI launch date of Fall 2025 is still in place, despite ongoing rumors that the game could miss that window.
While we’re all still waiting for GTA VI’s release, we can check out some great Black Friday Deals 2024 for gaming, which have Grand Theft Auto V in them.
Let's Talk a Bit More About Lucia—A Seemingly New Character
The main characters of Grand Theft Auto VI were shown to us in the GTA VI Trailer video, with particular attention paid to Lucia, the game’s first female lead. Although we still don’t know much regarding her as a character, the teaser provides us with some clues. Given that she is dressed in jail attire, it is obvious that she has had some legal issues.
Furthermore, Lucia is frequently spotted with an unidentified male character who appears to be a major player in the upcoming edition. Although we haven’t received confirmation of his identity, he has previously been informally referred to as both James and Jason.
As they become involved in a crime together, the two seem to have a bond, or a relationship akin to Bonnie and Clyde’s, and they talk of trust.
The GTA VI Trailer Promises a Wonderful Game in the Works
Many of us can’t help but express how much we are looking forward to GTA VI’s release. If we could, we’d all probably just sit down and play the hell out of it, just like what we’ve done with GTA V. But for now, it seems like the best thing we can do is wait for the game’s official release and enjoy it then.
But what do you think? Is GTA VI going to deliver good results and worthy of our patience? Type down your thoughts and leave them in the comments section below!
