For Switch Online users, Nintendo releases, the Nintendo Music app, which offers selections without spoilers and carefully selected playlists. They’ll be able to enjoy all the Nintendo music that is available for them to listen to. A couple of weeks ago, Kyoto’s first Nintendo Museum was unveiled to the public, marking a great time for Nintendo to venture into new things, including the creation of apps.

Nintendo Has Been Surprising Fans With New Releases

Nintendo has been working hard to surprise fans with various releases as many are still waiting for an official announcement about the Nintendo Switch 2. The company recently unveiled the surprising Nintendo Alarmo alarm clock in addition to the frequent release of new free games for the Nintendo Switch Online service. Nintendo fans can now enjoy their music in a new app they made.

Nintendo Music is a stand-alone program that allows users to enjoy music from beloved video game series. Players will be able to enjoy tunes from Splatoon, Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, and more. Both iOS and Android smartphones can utilize the software, which is now available.

There are several options that fans might find useful in addition to music streaming. This offers a little something extra special to the experience. An experience that goes beyond just listening to music through downloads, CDs, or YouTube.

Additional Details for Nintendo's Newly Released App

Good Night, Powering Up, and Break Time are just a few of the themed playlists available in the Nintendo Music app. Fans may switch (pun intended) things up without having to search for individual tracks because these playlists have songs from a variety of games.

Nintendo’s new app has also added a useful function that lets users avoid spoilers. Users can instruct the app not to play specific spoiler tracks from Nintendo game titles they haven’t finished yet if they so choose. This gives the people a chance to avoid boss fights and crucial moments in the game being spoiled.

Additionally, users may program the app to replay songs or prolong them for up to 60 minutes. The service would also suggest songs to users depending on the Nintendo Switch games they have already played.

What Do People Need to Do to Be Able to Use Nintendo Music?

First and foremost, one would have to buy a Nintendo Switch and become a Nintendo Switch Online member. However, the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack is not necessary to use the service. Additionally, the service is available to those on Family Plans and those participating in short-term Nintendo Switch Online free trials.

Sadly, the current Nintendo Switch mobile app does not incorporate Nintendo Music. Those who wish to utilize Nintendo Music will have to download and install a separate app, which they can find in their phone’s app store.

The site plans to add more games and tunes in the future, which should please those who are seeking more music alternatives. Personally, I hope Nintendo would be more lenient with the inclusion of their music for video essays, reviews, and fan art projects since they have this app now.

Nintendo is notoriously known for sending out copyright claims, after all. Exacerbated by their recent Nintendo Museum emulator controversy, it’d be pretty ironic, but also very characteristic, of Nintendo to be suing others for “infringing” upon their music IP (Intellectual Property).

Are You Excited for the New Nintendo Music App?

So, are you excited about the release of the Nintendo Music app? What songs are you really looking forward to listening to once you install the app on your Nintendo Switch and phone?

Personally, I’d love to listen to the whimsical and adventurous soundtracks of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ocarina of Time has one of the best soundtracks for a video game, and I never get tired of listening to them. Plus, the nostalgia I get from it is always a welcome bonus. Let us know which Nintendo soundtrack you’d love to vibe with the new Nintendo Music app in the comments below
