Having a Zoochosis guide, especially if you’re a beginner to the game, is going to be very handy when it comes to playing and enjoying the gameplay.

Zoochosis has become a hit game for October, which is perfect because it’s the spooky season, after all. A lot of Halloween celebrants had a fun time playing the game, but some weren’t a big fan of it, too. In fact, it has a mixed review score from 1,443 correspondents.

I have a theory as to why the review is so mixed, and it’s because the game can be daunting at first. Before we get into the guide itself, let’s take a bit more about Zoochosis.

Zoochosis: A Zoo Simulation Game With a Dash of Horror

In the game Zoochosis, you look after animals and tend to their medical needs. It has some similarities to The Mortuary Assistant because it’s one of those zoo simulation games a lot of people like. Feeding the zoo animals and looking for any indications that they might be ill are your first steps.

Initially, the game aids in your understanding of what to do, but when mutant creatures arise, things might become complicated. With no resources or items, the game is extremely difficult in the beginning. You must exercise caution in all that you undertake. In the early stages of the game, there are a few crucial tasks.

This is where most players are put off. Playing Zoochosis for the first time can be extremely overwhelming. And that is the reason why this article was written. It’s to help beginners get through the game a bit easier, which could lead to enhancing their enjoyment of said game.

With that said, we’ll now get to the meat and bone of the guide!

Step #1 for Zoochosis Guide: Ready the Food—The Animals Be Hungry!

Prepare the animals’ food before you visit them. Players only have a single opportunity to inspect every cage before the diseased animals begin to exhibit symptoms. Wait until you’ve completed everything before returning to the train.

Being a beginner, you might find that this Zoochosis guide is enough. However, if you need a more in-depth guide to the entire game, then a Zoochosis walkthrough is what you need. Don’t worry about spoilers too much because the gameplay for Zoochosis doesn’t change even with prior knowledge.

Step #2: If You Hear the Phone Ring, Pick It Up and Start Listening

Answer the phone when you hear it ring. You will be given the code by a woman to access a locker containing necessary goods. The information you get from the phone will help you move forward.

Step #3: Time to Get to Work—Zoochosis Style

Now, it’s time to get our hands dirty. Push your cart over to the enclosure. This stage is known as “investigation.”

Once you’re in the enclosure, you need to check the temperature of every animal, check their response to sound, feed them, gather their poop, and get as many animals’ blood samples as you can. If certain animals don’t cooperate as soon as you want them, don’t worry. They’ll soon come around.

Step #4: This Zoochosis Guide Will Teach You to Get Those Samples Ready and Analyze Them

Return to the train car and examine the samples you gathered. While not every animal will exhibit every symptom, one will at least. If several animals exhibit the same symptoms, they most likely suffer from the same illness.

Step #5: Prepare Yourself for Mutants to Appear

There will be a mutant animal as you make your way back to the enclosure! Don’t throw yourself in to save the animals just yet. Rather, return to the train and pick up additional supplies.

Take your time with this one, similar to how you’d be serious about learning how to install and play Fallout: London.

Step #6: Zoochosis Guide Pro Tip: Don't Stop Collecting Supplies

There are plenty of helpful supplies next to the door where your wife is knocking. Ensure that you have sufficient resources to deal with the animal that is mutant. Make some sleeping darts, or tranquilizers, to aid in drawing blood from the zoo animals.

Step #7: Battle Time!

First, sedate a typical animal so that blood can be drawn for the vaccination. Use a tranquilizer to shoot the mutant if it is unconscious. It will awaken but return to sleep, giving you a bit of extra time.

Create a vaccine for the illness while onboard the train. You’ll get three darts for each vaccine, which you may inject (shoot) on the mutant. To cure the mutant, go back to the enclosure and shoot it with the darts.

Step #8: Finishing Up the Fight With the Mutant in Zoochosis

You can safely travel back and forth across the train and the enclosure when the mutant has been treated. To keep the sick animals healthy, remember to administer their vaccinations.

Extra Tips for Subsequent Enclosures From Our Zoochosis Guide

You’ll be able to prepare unique meals for the mutant creatures in subsequent cages. Here are some pointers from our Zoochosis Guide:

  • When preparing, include meat in the animal’s diet to help calm down mutants.
  • After completing each enclosure, make sure you have all you need for the next enclosure by always checking the supplies.

Some extra tips that could help include:

  • Be cautious because while you’re inside the enclosure, the infected animals may change!
  • Utilize special diets to identify unwell animals. For instance, a gorilla may be healthy if you give it a certain diet and it doesn’t become ill!

Here’s a video to help show how to care for and cure the animals:
